The new series of 'Britains Got Talent' is about to launch on ITV. So whats that got to do with OrganFax news you may ask. Well next time you are watching an ITV program and the adverts come on, don't turn over or go and make tea. If you catch the tease trailer for the program you will see a flash of a very well know British Organist amongst the coming contestants. Who is it?......... Our own Jean Martyn. Below is a report from our good friend, Jack Raves of the Netherlands Organ Federation who wished to share his experience of Jean Martyn's concert in Hamburg a few weeks ago. It's good to hear that organ music is still so popular in this corner of the world...
Many of you may know that there is a Welte 'Uniflex' Organ in the Hamburg Radio Studio of the N.D.R. (Nord Deutsche Rundfunk). (Uniflex, by the way stands for UNIT-organ, like most well known theatre pipeorgans.)

Following a recent concert by Glyn Madden in conjunction with the South Yorkshire Keyboard and Organ Club over £680 was raised for the Japan disaster fund. With a fabulous donation of £100 from NEDOS (the North East Derbyshire Organ Society) and a couple of cheques from individuals received the following morning, their little fund raiser is now standing at £840.
