Our own John Romero was taken in to hospital last weekend, we can now report that he is OK but will be unable to play for at least a couple of days as his surgeon is contemplating an operation.
Richard Monks has kindly offered to swap over his concert so Richard will be appearing at Winchester Electronic Organ Society this evening and John will be there on June 7th 2011.
Following the diagnosis of a rather large stone John has said he will never be able to look at a steak and kidney pudding in the same light again!
Last Friday saw players from the Orpington Organ & Keyboard Club do a "Sponsored Playathon" at their local Sainsbury's for Red Nose Day.
It was such a success, that they were asked to go back on the Saturday which they did and overall raised more than £700! What an achievement!! Not only have they raised such a wonderful amount for charity but what an excellent way to promote the club and the orgn & keyboard in general.
Keep up the good work guys!

We are pleased to announce that the David Windle will be back at the organ on the North Pier, Blackpool on Wednesday and Thursday mornings,11.30 till 1.00 pm commencing the 20th of July 2011.
The season proved to be very popular with the visitors in 2009 but the pier management decided on a different policy for the 2010 season deciding to replace the organ with a musical duo. Therefore, we are pleased to see it back this year.
As usual the shows will be featuring David at his Yamaha FX20 with amplification playing a varied programme to suit all tastes.
