Howard Beaumont will be accompanying the classic silent film 'Steamboat Bill Jnr' at the Scarborough Fair collection Lebberston Nr Scarborough on Sunday 13th September at 2.30 pm. The Mighty Wurlitzer held at the museum will be put through it's paces as Howard re-creates this famous art form of one man becoming a whole orchestra to give the film a new lease of life.

On 12th July, 1965, a young organist played a Hammond A-100 organ at the foundation of the Bristol Hammond Organ Society.
On 12th July, 2015, that same organist, Keith Beckingham, returned and played the same Hammond A-100 organ to launch the Society’s Golden Jubilee Anniversary Celebration Concert.

Following on from our previous news item Simon Gledhill has recently been entered into the American Theatre Organ Society’s hall of fame. The ATOS Hall of Fame award is presented annually to persons who have been loyal supporters of the American Theatre Organ Society. These individuals have shown dedication to the preservation of the theatre organ and their contributions over the years have enhanced the public interest in the theatre organ. Our congratulations also go to Simon!
Phillip Brown and Lynne Siddons will be playing a charity concert on Monday 27th July at St. George’s Social Centre, Village Street, off Balaclava Road, Derby, DE23 8SZ which is the home of the Derby Organ & Keyboard Club. As of the beginning of August 2015, Scarborough Electronic Organ Society is changing it’s venue from Scarborough College to the Scarborough Fair Collection, Flower of May Holiday Park, Lebberston Cliff, Scarborough YO11 3NU.
This is a very prestigious venue with excellent facilities including a superb sound and stage lighting system, and projection system with two large screens. The venue is fully disabled friendly and is all on one level. There is also ample free parking adjacent to the Museum.
