The event has a 30 year history and for the last 17 Gary Cole has been the host. This years event will be at the Assembly Rooms Pensioner Hall, Grantham Drive, Skegness with doors opening @ 10.30am. The music starts at 11am and carries on until 1pm and consists mainly of Sequence & Ballroom dances.

After 28 years of service we have learned that the Portslade Compton/Christie organ is to be removed from its home. The last concert was recently given by John Mann on Sunday 13th November. It is our understanding the instrument will be moved to an as yet undisclosed location. We are also told it is hoped the instrument will remain in Sussex.

The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is home to what must be the most famous and most played Wurlitzer organ in the world and Phil Kelsall has now amazingly completed his 40th year, presiding at the Wurlitzer as principal resident organist.
In recognition of Phil's contribution to the world of theatre organ music, The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is presenting a special 40th anniversary concert, a rare opportunity to hear Phil play a full concert on the Mightily Wurlitzer.

Due to popular demand The Penistone Cinema Organ Trust have added two more dates in December for private practise sessions on the Compton Cinema Pipe Organ at the Astoria Centre, Barnsley. Practise sessions are priced at £35 per two-hour session. Maybe you could treat yourself or a loved one for Christmas!
