Tony Whittaker has informed us that he will be providing live piano accompaniment to Buster Keaton’s classic silent film ‘The General’ at the Royal Spa Centre Cinema, Leamington Spa on Friday October 16th at 8.00 pm.

As part of its ongoing efforts to recruit more support, the Weyhill Electronic Organ Society has devised a special scheme which also helps local charities (and non-profit organisations). By prior agreement, the Club allocates say 20 tickets to a selected charity for a specific concert on the understanding that this charity retains the proceeds. The potential outcome is that the Club will have 20 extra people in the audience and the participating charity will have £100 or more to add to their funds.

Due to unforeseen circumstances there is a change in the programme for St Helens and Southport organ Societies this week. Both societies will now be presenting Paul Roberts and Shade Black in an evening of organ solos, piano solos and duets.

After many years of wonderful sounds and performances Jean Martyn has said farewell to her beloved EL900. Now using the fabulous Yamaha TRX system (Tyros5 linked to a Yamaha stage piano with Hammond pedals to complete the set up). She says "I have really appreciated the positive comments using the new system".

It's hard out there and getting new club members is SO important. Here is yet another great publicity idea from Weyhilll EOS.
Following the demise of the vehicle tax disc, the Club has produced its own 'disc' to insert in its place. The 'substitute', designed to the same dimensions, depicts the Society's badge/logo. Thus why not design and print something similar to the picture and give one to each of your club members.
