With systems starting from £13500 each Bohm organ is custom built to the individual customers specification with choice of finish, pedalboard size, software loaded etc, chosen by the customer.

It may not be Hollywood but this year Salisbury Cathedral's Father Willis Organ will be making its Big Screen debut as plans to place a special video-relay screen in the organ loft during concerts finally come to fruition.

The addition of the big screen, revealing the hitherto hidden performers and showing off the Cathedral’s lovely Father Willis organ, is an exciting innovation that will offer Cathedral concert goers an even richer experience of the already a compelling line up of well known and accomplished artists.

Elmswell Organ Store are pleased announce they have secured the services of Peter Hayward during the first week of May and have an exciting week of events planned.

On Tuesday 5th May, Peter will perform a concert at Bury St Edmunds Organ Club featuring Ringway RS600 and the Orla Grand 110 Piano. All are welcome and the concert is at Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 2PJ and starts at 7.30pm.

Not only has the Toxy made its first sounds (which you can find out more about in the latest edition of the newsletter on our OrganFax articles page) but we have news of its opening concert.

Richard Hills and Robert Wolfe will feature as the main artistes for the long awaited grand opening of this fabulous instrument. The date will be 22nd August and we will let you know more as soon as further details are released.

The Willis organ was built as a three-manual instrument in 1895, incorporating a small amount of pipework from previous instruments by John Gray, Samuel Green and by Gray & Davison. It was rebuilt by Harrison & Harrison, and opened in 2010 and this spectacular instrument will be showcased through a variety of events designed to demonstrate its versatility and importance.

Colchester Town Hall’s majestic Edwardian Organ is being returned to its former glory through a restoration project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The organ was removed from the Moot Hall in July 2014 and will be reinstated in Spring 2015 to be heard and enjoyed by people of all ages and by future generations. The restoration is accompanied by an exciting programme of outreach, education and performance activities involving the local community.
