Tuesday 18th September

Wersi Direct have announced a number of Evening Tickets available for entry to their Oktoberfest at the Marriott Huntingdon on Friday 19th October and Saturday 20th October. Tickets are £10 per person per night. Entry is from 7:30pm and concerts start at 8pm. There are 3 artists on per evening including Brett Wales, Bill Horn, Claudia Hirschfeld, Robert New, Daniel Watt and Ben Scott-Hyde  Please phone 0800 084 2013 to book tickets.

As the end of their 2012 series of "Duet Shows" approaches, Tony & Andrew look forward to playing at HAVERHILL ARTS CENTRE on Sunday, September 23rd 2.30pm and HOBURNE BASHLEY on Sunday,

The aisles of Hereford Cathedral will be ringing to music of a different kind tonight, Tuesday 11 September. Nigel Ogden, presenter of Radio 2’s ‘the Organist Entertains’, will be playing a specially prepared selection of popular and light classics at the cathedral at 7.30 pm.

Nigel’s favourite styles of music and personable manner will be well-known to the thousands of listeners to his regular radio programmes, and he is looking forward to making a return visit to Hereford, where he has enjoyed playing in the past.

For a number of years now the MBS team have promoted one day organ festivals in Bournemouth, however, they have now decided not to continue.  We received the following press release from the managment team yesterday:

'After careful consideration the MBS team has reluctantly decided to bring the annual festivals to a close.

Its just a week to go before the next Carillon O&K Festival with John and Jackie Romero. With a great line up that includes Tony Stace, Pete Shaw, David Harrild, Michael Wooldridge and Ian House they have just announced another special treat that is to be included in the weekend. For the first time they will be running an excursion to the East Sussex National Wurlitzer (the largest Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ in Europe, having 32 ranks of pipes) and guests will be treated to the music of Michael Wooldridge during the afternoon.
