Yamaha takes to the road with Tyros 3

Yamaha's UK team have been wowing audiences all over the country with the amazing new flagship keyboard, Tyros3. Starting with a special preview showing at the UK's largest keyboard fair at Pakefield in Suffolk, and culminating in a showcase tour featuring top European demonstrator Peter Baartmans, keyboard enthusiasts have been able to see and hear Tyros3 in a variety of settings, from one-to-one VIP demos through to professional concert nights.

Peter Baartmans played to packed houses over a whistle-stop tour of two weeks, taking in ten locations across the UK, from Falkirk through to Eastbourne. UK Marketing Manager for Yamaha's Electronic Keyboard Division, Andy Carvill, joined Peter on the tour, which proved to be a hit with consumers and dealers alike. Peter showcased Tyros3's unique new sound technology, which allows every keyboard player to achieve ultimate musical expression without any prior knowledge of special playing technique.

Meanwhile, Yamaha's established team of UK demonstrators, James Sargeant and Richard Bower, showcased Tyros3's new features in an ongoing series of more intimate VIP demos and concerts across the country.

All three artists will also perform on Tyros3 at the forthcoming Yamaha Club Weekend event at Alvaston Hall in Cheshire (5th - 8th December 2008), a special party weekend for keyboard enthusiasts from across the UK featuring in-depth product seminars, professional concerts and much, much more.

CHARITY SUCCESS FOR T&A EVENTS!

Andrew Nix & Bob Smailes T&A EVENTS wish to say THANK YOU! To all guests and helpers at the 'Musical Magic' breaks who have made the following statement possible:

At their recent event at The Elmbank Hotel, York, Tony Stace and Andrew Nix organised a raffle in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance. They also sold merchandise on behalf of the charity. Due to the generosity of their guests they were delighted to hand over a wonderful donation of £396.

Bob Smailes, who is the North East Yorkshire Development Officer for the YAA, arranged for Andrew and his family to view one of the two helicopters during filming for the BBC. He explained how grateful the charity is to receive donations like this as they need around £7000 per day to keep this vital service flying. With proceeds from previous events at York within the last year, T&A Events are proud to announce that they have now donated in excess of £1000. To see what happens to all the wonderful donations take a look at Yorkshire Air Ambulance's website.

Events in 2009 at The Elmbank Hotel will present opportunities for further charitable ventures. Already there is a waiting list for the event to be held February 20th to 23rd and a lot of interest has been shown for their newly announced 4 day event February 23rd to 27th so early booking is advisable. Further information about these York events and other weekends at Hayling Island, visit their website..
