I know you're all busy people at OrganFax - but is there any chance that the "TEACHERS DIRECTORY" as mentioned some while ago, may be set up? I'm sure that organ/piano/keyboard teachers would agree that some form of advertising to a specific group would bring results - as far as I'm concerned, placing adverts in the local paper brings little response, "Yellow Pages" is not as fruitful as it promises to be so a specific target might just do it.
Now - I'm not short of pupils by any means - in fact, John and I have just returned from our customary month in the South of France during which time I had more requests for lessons than I've had in the first quarter of the year.
It's all piano, keyboard and theory!! There must be SOMEONE out there who wants to learn to play / brush up their technique at theo organ. All these folk who attend festivals, own expensive top o' the range organs..............where are you?
I read with envy the American Theatre Organ Society journals - reporting overwhelming numbers of young people and young adults (also matures) who are queueing up for organ lessons around the US of A.............book me a flight someone!!
