    Hi Marie
I have been broadcasting my own keyboard radio show for the past two years here in Swindon Wilts - if you need any help/material I'd be glad to help - Roger M

I am trying to add remarks to this post after a long absence-my previous ones were altered in some strange way,but Ian has suggested I try again-
    so here goes!
I attended the recent Eastbourne festival and had a fabulous time.
The venue(the Queens hotel)is lovely-the staff couldn`t be more friendly and helpful and the music provided by our artistes was wonderful.
Jackie and John and their team have done us proud yet again!
I would also like to remark on how refreshing it was to see a static video camera just showing the players hands and how she/he managed to make sounds we heard.
Unfortunately,it now seems the vogue to have images wizzing in front of our eyes(on the large screen(s)) of other locations and I personally find this very distracting-we are there to see and hear the organist and really only require images of them-how do others feel about this?

    a) One part of your post is still being altered with a different typeface, Jennifer...
    b) Not sure what any of what you say has anything to do with Organfax having a radio show...
    c) There is nothing worse than being ignored when one makes a genuine offer of help regarding the radio show - is this part of the snobbery attached to professional players who tour the clubs etc

    Hi Roger,

Many apologies for that. Snobbery no... definitely not, just a busy schedule and have been away with limited internet access and just starting to catch up now home. Also, I'm not a pro player on the circuit so wouldn't be included in your comment above.

Roger, I was rather dismayed to read your comments above. While I realise you may have possibly been upset by something a professional has said/done in the past, I have to say, I think your "snobbery" comment was rather unfair.

In my experience of dealing with the pros over a period of 17 years, I have found them to be some of the most down to earth, hard working, nicest poeple I have had the pleasure to meet. I have only ever encountered 2 people out of the dozens I have dealt with that had over inflated opinions of themselves. Oddly enough, I have noticed that the 2 in question don't get many bookings...

Tony, that was nice of you to help Jennifer, but I'm curious as to how you get round the problem? What causes it?

Nice to see you back here Jennifer

    Regards

    Nicola
