I seem to inadvertantly caused a logjam!
(or am I putting too much importance on myself??)
All comments have appeared to stopped and I now look as if I ve completely taken over general discussions!
If you out in organland, start up again-I promise not to make any further inclusions(not indefinately,I hasten to add!)
So get those motors started up again?

Hi Jennifer, no you haven't caused a logjam! Don't worry, a few of us have just been embroiled in trying to sort out some teething problems some of us are having with our new instruments... hence the lack of comments.... :-( but it doesn't mean we don't want to see your witty limericks when we have the time to pop in here..... in fact, having a laugh is sometimes the only thing that keeps me sane!!! So please don't think any of us are ignoring you, it's more a case of a few of us are currently engaged in button pressing, sound tweaking, problem solving, and boring stuff like that. Keep up the good work! :-)
Regards, Nicola

(do have a look at my other inclusions if you`ve got time in between all that button pushing and tweaking...................are we talking about the same thing ??!!)Posted 2 years ago # -
no way jennifer K ! keep them coming .. im always looking on the thread for new limericks by you and phil and the occasional one thrown in for good measure by nicola.:-) . infact i found myself on there more than the theatre organ thread (ooops !)
in the meantime im gonna go push a few buttons and tweak a few sounds on the fantom.. but do keep them coming .. :-) . i would join in but im useless at those limericks .. once i start trying to think of something to rhyme im awake till 3am with it . ive enough on my plate with pushing buttons and tweaking , :-) catch you soon .. Hi boys and girls,
Not been around much myself either this week. Mainly because of work, work, overtime, work, work, HBOKC meeting, then work. Then some sleep, then work again.......
Regarding the toiab Tony, am I missing out on something here? I still bash the keys on my Tyros, no not the 3 or the 2 but my old faithful 1. I tweak a few things press a few buttons, transfer a few files a back and forth from my laptop and hook it up to my CLP240 via midi and have great fun cos it all seems to do what its told to do. I read pages and pages of text from the toiab thread with people having set up issues by the bucket full. Tell me, is that half of the fun to get these things set up right along with, surely hours of frustration? I admire everyones patience and commitment to get their boxes etc working right.
Ok Ok Im jealous a little bit because Mrs Sweet wont let me have an organ along with the tyros and clavy. (she can be so unsporting!!). Reading on it seems once people have got them all set up well the results are magnificent! For those with Theatre Organ in a box,
Once set up correctly it rocks,
On these forums are friends,
whose advise never ends,
with any problems they're solved round the clock!Wrong thread for a limerick I know.

well phil yes those hours of frustration eventually lead to hours of fun and great satisfaction when all done and set up .. if your prepared to put the work in to these instruments/expanders your certailny going to get some excellent results
they all work in the same way once saved its there for good although it can be time comsuming, meaning till the early hours ..all great fun and keeps me out of mischief.. ! cheers TonyPosted 2 years ago # -
I've just popped in here for a short break from "Fantoming" with a nice cup of tea.....
Yes, Phil - you know what boys with their toys are like..... in my case - "tomboy", so I must fall into that category too. In answer to your question, try this -
Fantom fiddling is what we're about,
though it often makes us scream and shout!
Endless tweaking, my husband's "bleating",
oh dearie me, my back is "creaking"!Button pressing..., often just guessing (?!)
We just can't seem to stop this messing!
Lots of "what's?" and "where?" and "how's?"
"where's my sounds?" and family rows.I don't know what I'm going to do,
Fantomania has gripped me too.
I've turned into a Fantom "lout",
where's the bin? It's going OUT!!!(ha ha! - only kidding)....and before anyone mentions I'm on the wrong thread, I'm actually on the right thread as this thread's title says it all when it comes to my so called limericks - "OH DEAR!" ;-)
English never was my strong point at school, I preferred Physics, and anyway what good did learning Shakespeare do for me when I have a Fantom technical problem?, hee hee!
Regards to all
