Hi folks,
In case anyone is interested I am about to embark on a project to have a pipe organ at my home having got the financial means to do this.
Well, I say pipe organ but it will be mainly a Makin electronic but with a wind blown Diapason providing 8, 4 and 2 pitches. In an unexpected "twist" to a standard 2 manual church spec there will be melotone stops provided by some post war Compton generators. The pipes, speakers etc will cover the full length of the one wall of what should be the dining room!!! I hope to also have Midi facility to have extra sounds if money allows. This will be covered completely by radiator style grilles. The projected spec will be as follows:

A very exciting project indeed! Im strictly a church organist that plays in theatre organ style on a church organ so am not fussed about Tibias etc. However, I am partial to the sound of a melotone so have decided to include this!
Not content with just this, my long suffering partner Michelle will have to endure this in the dining room and my Compton 352 electrone in the lounge!!!!!
I intend to provide photographs in time once I get things rolling!
Chris Thompson.
