I am looking for a cheap drum unit - it need not be too complicated, it only has to generate a drum rhythm from a keyboard midi sequencer clock. If it can play a "cowbell" sound then so much the better.
My very talented ex-pro drummer has decided to play drums as a semi-pro with me but as I've been using auto-accompaniment for 20 + years playing dance dates we need the guitar and the bass backing. I can mute the drum channel and hey presto we can begin to sound like a "big-band". Not only that, drum kits look really "cool" on stage - but he needs to be in sync with me.
OR - can anyone suggest a better way of doing this????
