There once was an accomplished organist, named Brian,
new tricks and angles he is always a trian(trying)
his teacher could only marvel-this dove s already got wings,
he surmised, though the haze he ll be(Hazelby) destined for great things,
to his gigs he s up in the clouds and is a flyin !(ref to pilot)

Penny Weedon is worried like all,
As society and club numbers fall,
    We need to act soon,
    To avoid certain doom,
The demise of our world would be cruel.

There once was an organist named Brian Sharp,
we thank the Lord he didn t learn to play a harp,
his individual interpretation and pizzicato touch
and variety with gay abandon-(he does it much)
is akin to a swipe in the face with a wet carp!

There once was a very gifted accordianist called John Romero,
who could easily but never did want to play Ravel s Bolero,
it s far too long and goes on just a tad-he mused
not exciting enough for this musical lad to get enthused,
he`d rather sit drinking Sangria in the sun with his sombrero!

There once was a merry old boy called Santa Clause,
whose sleigh in the crispy Christmas night sky did pause,
down the chimneys he dropped with presents galore
gifts and all manner of things you cannot see in a store
and was he ever thankful his britches had protective gauze?!

A rather old one from me when everyone had coal fires(I`ve still got one-its lovely!)
Happy Christmas everyone and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

the New Year is for making and sticking to resolutions,
and for this he s got many outstandingly apt solutions,

There once was a talented organist named Ian Griffin,
his programme is always different-he comes up biffin(g)
the first half of his offerings are invariably pretty damn good,
then he invites audience requests-cor.........knock on wood!
He`ll even play the white.........of Dover with the cliff in!

(sorry about that, folks-but it is difficult to find a rhyme to Griffin!!!)
