    Hello all

Sometime ago I was given a members guided me through the possibilities of using a Fantom xr with my Yamaha US1. Since then, I bought a Roland AT90 and now, I'm once again interested in hooking up a Fantom XR with TOIAB.

Is the final word that the Roland will not control the volume of the Fantom or has a solution been found, without the need to layout another £150!

In my simplicity, I had hoped that 2 Roland stable members would simply need to be connected via midi and off we go???? ;-)

Hoping all is well with our oracles.

Sadly it would seem that Roland Organ division and other parts of the industry have no interest in direct compatibility of their products. The Roland BK7m is another case in point.
If you intend using your RolandAT90 as the amplification system you might be OK.
Check if the line input sounds to the organ are affected by the expression pedal. They are on my Viscount Empire but it also adds the organ reverb.

    Hello Keith

I am waiting for a usb/midi interface so that I can try and get to grips with programming the midi solutions events processor (plus). Did I understand correctly, in one of your posts, that you had been successful in this - Atelier/Fantom xr? If I I understood that to be the case, would you be kind enough to let me have a copy of the file that I could upload to my M. Sol Events processor? Or at least a copy, via e-mail, of the line(s) of instructions to achieve recognition of the organ's swell pedal and the organ's pistons by the Fantom XR?

If you are willing to share this VITAL information (for I like to play rather than struggle against technology!) you would need this: nobax at hotmail.com As usual 'at' = @

I hope that you are well and are looking forward to that time of the year when enthusiasts the world over add bell-family / jingling thingies to their performances - depending on the number of wee drams consumed.

I understand that I load the .rtf file into the programming programme for the midi solutions box and then press programm(e) (no 'e' I suppose)

I am not at all sure how to action the .upg files. When you have the time, I would appreciate a word on this one.

    Thanks
