I am delighted to see that the new organ fax has turned the spotlight on a legend wurlitzer performer,Phil Kelsall.
I consider him to be one of the very best performers,even today the mans playing is so inspiring,conseqently my stepson wishes to learn the organ.
I visited the tower when I was ten and I fell in love with the kelsall sound,I then decided to learn the organ,I play for a living now.
a credit to the tower and also a salute to Mr blackpool!!

Organmaster, I quite agree. I am fortunate enough to have been instrumental ( no pun intended ) in arranging a dance event at Fleetwood Marine Hall on Saturday June 13th, featuring Phil Kelsall and Tower colleague Chris Hopkins, tickets are alreday selling quickly. If you have access to Facebook, join the group 'Blackpool Tower Ballroom....best ballroom in the world'. There are many photographs, links and video clips featuring the inimitable Mr Kelsall !
