There once was a young, talented organist named David Lingwood,
just who always enjoys his concerts immensely-why, a King would,
his musical interpretations are fine and nothing do lack,
that`s why, wherever he goes, they often want him back,
Like a hardy perennial bulb, he crops up like a spring bud!!

There once was a very famous organist called Nigel Ogden(Oh cripes)
This is going to be a difficult one even without mentioning organ pipes,
his concerts were a supreme experience-everyone was ,thrilled-
the BBC radio 2 organist extraordinaire, he was often billed
just the tonic-a sweet musical lift for weary `organ nut types!

There once was a famous organist called Andrew Nix,
who had a considerable musical reportoire of tricks,
his great organist pal the (in)famous Tony Stace,
played with him often(despite the denying look on his face)
with their increasing offspring, now large, they each other fix?

(This is meant as a joke-they`re always making fun of it, so why cannot I?)

There once was an organist called Joanne Naulls-oh crikey be,
can I make a limeric for everyone to realise and thus to see,
that this extremely talented lady with a personality to match,
in every musical consignment she never offers a duff batch,
putting bums on seats and spreading happiness is her glee!

Well, I suppose it s not bad-I ll have a cup of cocoa and maybe try to improve-but don t hold your breath!!

There once was a genial and accomplished organist named Robert Davies
from the tedium of everyday life he came into our midst to save us(close)
he just sits at his instrument and makes wonderful sounds,
where he is playing, great happiness invariably abounds,
providing food for East Anglian organ nuts-we`re right ravers!

(Oh,I know its a bit twee-but I have made the effort-I wished his surname was Davers!!?)

there once was a very competant organist named Jelani Eddington,
oh how much simpler twould be if he just hailed from Teddington,
his programme is as ever-polished and absolutely subllime,
he continues to musically thrill me and others all of the time,
now, I m off to a darkened room to find an ending-in my bedding(ton!)!!?

There once was a famous organist called Peter,
of spooky astronomical issue, a world beater,
of harmonies obscure he proved to be the best,
of fabulous nonsense he certainly passed the test,
of life s long and winding, tune he s got the metre.

for Peter Haywood(musical director for Sceptre promotions)

There once was an organist of some repute-Mathew Bason,
he liked to sit on the stage sideways-not audience face on,
his music was varied/bright and his wit so sublime,
listeners, he won them over nearly all of the time,
and he kept on til the end-the session s cessation!!?

O.............U.............C..........H !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
