About Hull - The Organised Music Society (TOMS)

The Organised Music Society, (TOMS for short) was established in 1999 by Dolly Stubbins and Gladys Pickering, both are very keen organ players. Both wanted to get more involved in the organ world and starting an organ club was the natural way forward.

Our inaugural concert was on 20th September 1999 with the artiste was John Walker. It turned out to be a wonderfully entertaining evening. Since then the club has had many years of all types of music played by many very talented organists.

The organists play from 8pm till 9pm then we have a break to run a raffle, this is followed by Tea or Coffee, with biscuits, for which we ask a small fee of 35p and has been the same since the club started. (No inflation charges here)

Membership is just over 70 with attendance between 55 to 65. The fee for membership is a very reasonable £4 per year which is payable in September.

Any new members and visitors will be made very welcome.
