NEWSFLASH   -  NEW VENUE  

We have now moved from the Guild Hall to the Fiveways Hotel in Hazel Grove.

We are an enthusiastic group of music lovers who always make any guests welcome. All types of music are catered for from theatre organ to jazz, pop to classics and everything in between. In fact  there is something for everyone.

The club meets twice a month at the Fiveways Hotel, London Road, Hazel Grove Stockport. It's very easy to find - coming from Stockport town centre on the A6 bear right at the Rising Sun pub on the right hand side and then it is on the right just before the first set of lights. There is a large well lit car park and the meetings are held in the function room on the ground floor.

We have a concert on the last Thursday of each month when we have a very good selection of all different types of professional organists/keyboard players.

On the second Thursday of each month we have a 'Free and Easy' night where the members are invited to play on the Yamaha AR100 Club organ and / or their own keyboards. Everyone is given the opportunity to play and players of all ages and levels of ability are appreciated. The atmosphere is informal and help is available and freely given to anyone who needs it whether it be music to play or settings on the instrument they want to play. The emphasis is firmly on enjoying music rather than showing off

If you are lucky you may win a prize if your entrance ticket matches the number drawn for the Door Prize in the interval. We also have a raffle in the interval and there are notices and literature available to help members keep up to date on all the latest happenings and organ events both nationally and locally.

If you are interested in coming along to our next concert or Free and Easy night we would be glad to meet you and make you feel at home. You can always be sure of a very enjoyable and entertaining evening.

If you would like a member who lives in your area to bring you along for your first visit just give our secretary Shirley a ring on 0161 456 7492 and she will take your details and organise it for you. Similarly if you need any assistance with transport to a meeting just ask us and we will always try to help! Please don't think it will be too much trouble, you only need to ask!

Our members are glad to meet and help fellow enthusiasts of all ages. So why not come along and judge for yourself?

The club meets on the last Thursday of the month for organ concert night - artist starts playing at 8pm

Our Free 'N Easy Nights are on the second Thursday of the month starting at 7:30pm

Members admission: Concerts £4.50 - Free N Easy £2.00

Visitors admission:  Concerts £5.00 - Free N Easy £2.50

Annual Subscription: Single £3.00 - Family £5.00
