We are an enthusiastic group of music lovers who always make any guests welcome.  All types of music are catered for from theatre organ to jazz, pop to classics and everything in between. In fact everything is OK !

The club meets twice a month at the Guildhall, 169 Wellington Road South, Stockport. It’s very easy to find being only a short distance further up from and on the same side of the road as the Town Hall.  There is a large car park at the rear which is well lit and secure, being fenced and patrolled by a security guard who is in the car park for the whole of the evening.

We have a concert on the last Thursday of each month when we have a very good selection of all different types of  professional organists/keyboard players.

On the second Thursday of each month we have a Free ‘N Easy night where the members are invited to play on the Yamaha AR100 Club organ and / or their own keyboards. Everyone is given the opportunity to play and players of all ages and levels of ability are appreciated. The atmosphere is informal and help is available and freely given to anyone who needs it whether it be music to play or settings on the instrument they want to play. The emphasis is firmly on enjoying music rather than “showing off”!

From time to time we have charity events and social evenings, sometimes at other venues such as the Lancaster Club at British Aerospace in Woodford just outside Stockport.

If you are lucky you may win a prize if your entrance ticket matches the number drawn for the Door Prize in the interval. We also have a raffle in the interval and there are notices and literature available to help members keep up to date on all the latest happenings and organ events both nationally and locally.

If you are interested in coming along to our next concert or Free ‘N Easy night we would be glad to meet you and make you feel at home. You can always be sure of a very enjoyable and entertaining evening.

If you would like a member who lives in your area to bring you along for your first visit just give our chairman Brian a ring on 0161 456 7492 and he will take your details and organise it for you. Similarly if you need any assistance with transport  to a meeting just ask us and we will always try to help – remember you only need to ask.

Our members are glad to help fellow enthusiasts of all ages.

Why not come along and judge for yourself ?    OK ?
