PROUD TO BE IN OUR 44th YEAR
KeyNote CONCERTS exists to promote keyboard entertainment of all types amongst music lovers, concert goers and instrument enthusiasts alike. Each month top ranking artistes appear and perform two hours of their kind of music using today’s state of the art instruments to warm
The concerts have been taking place for nearly 40 Years* in the area, and like the instruments featured, have seen many changes in that time. 2010 sees a change in name and from November David & Teresa Thomas are in the driving seats. David is an East Anglian based touring Keyboard Artiste himself and has years of experience in both performing and staging shows.
*Formerly Called: The Wisbech & District Organ Society
The best form of advertising is by word of mouth and personal experience. However, from November’s concert onward well designed A4 colour posters will be available for regular subscribers to take away and display thus to help promote the next concert and our form of great value entertainment. Where else other than our form of show can you go and enjoy Two Hours of live musical entertainment performed by respected top class musicians for such good value? Regular visitors can save by becoming subscribers and receiving a discount on the door ticket price. Anyone can simply fill out a subscription form and start saving.
Having moved from the original venue in Wisbech town centre, the passed three concert seasons have been held in the CENTRAL HALL, Emneth, Norfolk. Emneth is a Fenland village just on the county border of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Just over three miles from it’s postal town of Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. Easily found, the hall is literally in the centre of the quiet village and boasts a large tarmac surfaced car park with level easy access to the building for the public and performers alike.
Chosen for it’s facilities, the hall can hold up to 250 people and has good disabled access etc. Used by many local organisations the building has a fully equipped kitchen and bar facilities which makes it suitable for any type of event we may consider in addition to our normal Sunday afternoon concerts. Entering through the pleasant foyer, concert audiences find a bright, airy, well lit and centrally heated hall with a fixed 18” high podium stage. Cloth padded chairs provide comfortable seating for all to enjoy the shows.
