Welcome to the East Coast Organ Society website.

The announcement by the Chairman at the Sutton on Sea, Social Club Concert in December that the East Coast Organ Society was to close left members in a state of shock and disbelief. 

Unhappy with this decision a meeting was called in February to discuss the situation.  At the meeting it was put to those who were there that if the Society was to be reform the annual subscriptions would have to go up, plus the cost of the monthly concert fees in order to cover the cost of the artistes. Another meeting in March was duly arranged, giving people a chance to think about the proposed increases. £10 Annual subscriptions, and for those attending the concerts, it was agreed £7 for members and £10 for visitors

At the March meeting the Society was reformed with a new committee and a commitment that members would be kept informed of the Society financial status at each monthly concert. 41 people joined the East Coast Organ Society at this meeting, and the number has now increased to 53.

I am pleased to report that the East Coast Organ Society is up and running again.

Our first Concert with Howard Beaumont was held on Tuesday 9th April at the Bacchus Hotel, Sutton on Sea. This concert was a huge success, with members thanking Howard for a lively and diverse evening of music.

The Bacchus Hotel will once again be the venue for all our concerts.

 The Society will meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

 Doors open at 6.45pm and 7.30pm start.
