About 30 years ago Jean Billington bought a box of sheet music at an auction for her 'would-be' musician children. However, the music was not suitable for her children! A neighbour, who is a singer, by chance saw it and eagerly asked if he could buy some of it. It soon became apparent that there was a demand for out-of-print sheet music. Over the years Jean has bought more and more pre-owned sheet music and has now got the titles on a computer database. Knowing that you are interested in organ and keyboard music, you may want to buy music to play but some buy it to frame or by a particular theme. The detailed database helps to quickly locate any particular request that may be made - if it is in stock. There are approximately twenty thousand titles of sheet music in stock and several hundred albums also. Those available are grouped as follows:-
Most of the business of Bygone Tunes (which is Jean's trading name) is by mail order but you may have met her at several organ festivals in England over the years where examples of the stock can be seen. If you are looking for any
